Effective August 17, 2026, Piedmont Regional Jail will be making the following changes to our offender release hours:
Offenders will not be released from the facility between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., regardless of the reason for release.
Additional conditions will also apply for offenders detained for DUI related offenses. Please review the document below from the Office of the Superintendent for more information.
