Request an In-Person Visit

• Requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance and up to 14 days ahead.
• Visits are 30 minutes with a maximum of 6 visitors. Each inmate may receive one visit per week.
• All visitors must be on the inmate's approved visitation list.
• Every visitor 17 or older must bring a valid government-issued photo ID.
• Saturday and Sunday visits after 12:00 pm are scheduled by phone only. Call (434) 392-1601, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–3:30 pm.
• After you submit, we'll email you a link. Your request is not sent to staff, and the time is not held, until you click that link (within 30 minutes).
• Your visit is not confirmed until you receive an approval email.
